This Privacy Policy explains how Mike Wilson Digital LLC (“Mike Wilson Digital,” “I,” “me,” or “my”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit mikewilson.digital (the “Site”) or contact me through it.

I keep this simple and honest: I collect only what I need, I don’t sell your data, and you can ask me to delete it at any time.

Who I am

Information I collect

Information you give me directly. When you submit the contact form, I collect the name, email address, and message you provide. If you subscribe to my email list, I collect your name and email address.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, the Site collects standard analytics and technical data when you visit — such as pages viewed, referring source, approximate location, device and browser type, and IP address. This is gathered through Google Analytics 4 (via Google Tag Manager) and my hosting provider’s standard logs.

Cookies. The Site uses cookies for analytics to understand how visitors use it. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the Site will still work.

How I use your information

I use the information to:

  • Respond to your messages and inquiries.
  • Send you email updates and resources if you’ve subscribed (you can unsubscribe anytime).
  • Understand how the Site is used so I can improve it.
  • Keep the Site secure and operating properly.

I do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

Service providers I share data with

I use trusted third-party services to run the Site and communicate with you. These providers process data only to perform services for me:

  • Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager — website analytics.
  • Web3Forms — processing and delivering contact-form submissions.
  • Kit (formerly ConvertKit) — managing my email list and sending newsletters.
  • Cloudflare — website hosting, content delivery, and security.

Each of these providers maintains its own privacy policy governing how it handles data.

How long I keep your data

I keep contact-form messages and email-list information only as long as needed to respond to you, provide the emails you signed up for, or as required by law. If you ask me to delete your information, I will.

Your choices and rights

You can:

  • Unsubscribe from emails anytime using the link in any email I send.
  • Request access to the personal information I hold about you.
  • Request correction or deletion of your information.
  • Opt out of analytics via your browser or an opt-out extension.

Depending on where you live (for example, under the Connecticut Data Privacy Act, and similar laws in other states or regions), you may have additional rights over your personal data. To exercise any of these, just email me at mike@mikewilson.digital and I’ll take care of it.

Children’s privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 16, and I do not knowingly collect information from them.

The Site may link to other websites (such as my social profiles). I’m not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites — please review their policies.

Changes to this policy

I may update this policy from time to time. When I do, I’ll revise the “Effective date” above. Significant changes will be reflected here on this page.
